Best Documentaries on Sustainability to Watch
The buzz word lately has been sustainability. Fortune 500 companies have been posting and slapping a sustainable label on all of their products. I can’t stress enough the importance of doing your own research and educating yourself on what sustainability really is. These top documentaries below have helped my family. We now think twice about purchasing fast fashion and learning on how to avoiding plastic. I’ve always been transparent with you all, it’s not always convenient to say no to plastic. I have 3 kids and it’s definitely a transition and a long process.
A question I get often, it’s just 1 person trying to make a difference in this world. I response “it’s ONLY one straw” imagine if 8 billion people gave up 1 straw for just a week! If I can avoid using a straw or a single use coffee cup I do. The point of living a minimal and a low waste lifestyle is never to be perfect. Always, teaching my children to make better choices in life. It’s important to educate our children about climate issues, consumerism and food systems. We want to make sustainable living achievable, fun, and accessible for them.
