Kenia is an environmental advocate her mission is to address the importance conscious consumerism + intentional living. She educates on the issues of disproportionately impacted communities of racial diversity. In December 2019, she founded KYND, a sustainable and cruelty-free skincare line, made with ingredients that are plant-based and non-toxic, for babies + mamas. Her products are 100% organic and handcrafted in small batches in the United States. All products are packed and shipped with recycled and biodegradable materials. She also founded Kind Gatherings, a sustainable luxury events company made for life’s intimate moments and an unforgettable celebration. Her pop up mobile cart and picnic services, offers creative food and beverage catering solutions for private parties, corporate events and brands. As part of her mission, she strive to support local businesses.

Kenia shifted her focus from her life-long goal of becoming a lawyer to sharing and educating those around her about how to live more sustainably in ways that are achievable, no matter your income or background.  She has also successfully launched and influenced numerous women looking to make the jump from free-time to full-time. She’ll be leveraging her expertise in getting legal and branding as the primary instructor for the Building Better Monday workshop series.

While her roots are in New York/New Jersey, she lived in California for 14 years and now calls Hawaii home. When not working on a blog post, you can find her wandering the unknown, traveling the world with her family. She’s already visited 6 continents, over 40 countries and countless cities.
