Kenia is an environmental advocate who believes conscious consumerism and intentional living should be accessible to everyone. Her work highlights the environmental issues that disproportionately affect communities of color and offers practical ways to live more sustainably, regardless of income or background.

In December 2019, she founded KYND, a sustainable, cruelty-free skincare line for babies and mothers. Its plant-based products are handcrafted in small batches in the United States and shipped using recycled and biodegradable materials.

Kenia once planned to become a lawyer, but found her purpose in education, entrepreneurship, and helping others turn their ideas into businesses. She has guided women making the transition from a side project to full-time work and brings her experience in branding and the legal aspects of starting a business to the Building Better Mondays workshop series.

With roots in New York and New Jersey, Kenia spent 14 years in California before living in Hawaiʻi. She now calls the San Francisco Bay Area home. Outside of work, she loves exploring new places and has traveled to six continents and more than 40 countries.
