What is Plastic Free July?

Plastic Free July is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution – so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities. Everyone is welcome to take part and become aware of the plastic items they use in their everyday lives and pledge to refuse to use single-use plastics. I’ve mentioned this in a blog post at (beginner’s guide to low waste journey). My goal was never to be zero waste completely that’s basically impossible and unsustainable. My ultimate goal is to make small changes and start adapting this lifestyle into my everyday routine. I’ve actually started my low waste journey on Plastic Free July, 5 years ago. One month turned into my lifestyle — never perfect. It took a long time and a whole lot of trial and error. I’m still learning, everyday it’s a conscious effort to make this world a little less polluted.

what you can do to start your plastic free.

Here are a couple of easy ways you can reduce your plastic consumption. Make sure if you participate in this journey tag #plasticfreeJULY, whether you do it in the month of July or any other months. The best time for change is now so what’s stopping you?
